TAQA Awards 2018

On December 7th, 2018, Thailand Automotive Institute (TAI) collaborated with Inter-Media Consultant Co., Ltd. and Custom Asia Co., Ltd. to reveal results from car user and consumer need surveys which would be applied for Thai automotive related product and industry development and enhancement of automotive operator as well as present awards to them in the 17th THAILAND AUTOMOTIVE QUALITY AWARD 2018 (TAQA Award 2018). In this regard, Mr. Somchai Harnhirun, Deputy Minister, Ministry of Industry, presided over the event and presented awards at Jupiter 4-5, Challenger Hall, Impact Muangthong Thani.

On December 7th, 2018, Mr. Somchai Harnhirun, Deputy Minister, Ministry of Industry, visited Thailand Automotive Institute (TAI)’s booth and exhibition under the theme of the Decade of Change which TAI presented automotive industry situation, trend and future management. TAI will drive operator and Thai automotive industry competitiveness to the global market. In this regard, Mr. Adisak Rohitasune, Member of the Board of Directors, Acting President, TAI and Mr. Kwanchai Paphatphong, Organizing Chairman, the 35th Thailand International Motor Expo 2018, gave a warm welcome and leaded the Deputy Minister to visit booths in the event at Challenger Hall, Muangthong Thani.

Alternative Energy in the 4.0 Era

Mr. Adisak Rohitasune, Member of the Board of Directors, Acting President, Thailand Automotive Institute (TAI), was invited to participate the alternative fuel 4.0 panel discussion in the topic of “Is it time for Thai to buy EV?” organized by Alternative Energy Institute of Thailand (AEITF), Inter-Media Consultant Co., Ltd. (IMC) and alliances. In this regard, Mr. Alongkornp Ponlaboot presided over the event on December 6th, 2018 at Jupiter 4-6, Impact Muangthong Thani.

The 7th Asian Automotive Institutes Summit (AAIS)

November 28, 2018
Mr. Adisak Rohitasune, Member of the Board of Directors, Acting President – Thailand Automotive Institute (TAI) leaded management team to attend the 7th Asian Automotive Institute Summit (AAIS) which was held during November 25th – 28th, 2018 at South Korea with the objective to exchange policy, experience, advanced technology of automotive industry in Asia region. The topics of summit were General Information & Vehicle Safety Policy, Autonomous & Electronic Vehicles and Vehicle & Motorcycle Safety, Fuel Economy, etc. This year of summit was honored to have representatives from 7 countries; Japan, Korea, India, China, Taiwan, Thailand and Indonesia – the key players to drive automotive industry of Asia forwards, attended the summit.

On November 16th, 2018, representatives of Thailand Automotive Institute (TAI) gave a warm welcome to a group of 50 volunteers from Delta Electronics (Thailand) PCL. who visited EV Technology & Innovation Learning Center at TAI Testing Center, Bang Poo to learn more about the next generation vehicle innovation and perform activities that build knowledge of using energy to schools in community towards.
